This pristine 1965 Ford Mustang GT is one of only 60 built by Ford exclusively for display and demonstration at the 1965 New York World's Fair. All of the first 60 GT's off the assembly line were built identically, and was loaded with factory options to introduce the brand-new GT Package. Factory build specs include the 289 V-8, automatic transmission, Pony Package, the extremely rare Rally Pac, power steering, and of course the GT exterior styling with the upgraded suspension and dual exhaust with those iconic louvered tips exiting through the rear valence. All were finished in Wimbledon White with the Blue and White Pony Interior, and this immaculate, highly original and well-documented example is truly an investment-grade Mustang GT that will be the highlight of any collection.
